Meh. Life has been kicking my ass lately. I think I'm sick or my hormones are off. I have been constantly exhausted for a week. I go to work, I come home and PASS OUT until the next day.I don't have the energy for anything else. I'm worried but I don't want to just be tired for no reason...I don't know I'm brain broken.
Logan has gained about 5lbs since I started him on Earthborn Holistic, which is awesome for the dog who can't keep weight on. I'd like to see another 3-4lbs to fill him out but we'll see. At least he doesn't look starving. I was snarked at by a neighbor for "Oh look how skinny that poor dog is." Man the things people say out loud. Keep your comments elsewhere :| He is too smart for his own good. I got him a treat dispensing ball and he just picks it up and drops it on the open hole so it drops all the food out and he doesn't have to chase it around the room like he's supposed to. Ass.
He's being a brat lately. His Nail trim was AWFUL. He's never flipped so bad for a nail trim where I had Craig pick him up so I could just do them. I wonder what's changed. Other than him being a bratty two year old (well almost). We've had Logan for just over a year, one long difficult year. I wouldn't trade him for the world. Except maybe when he drags my socks around the house, or puts his cold drooly tongue in my ear to wake me up :| I could do without that. Also midnight house zooming.
Work has been a chore lately. The holidays bring out the worst people ever. For those who don't know, I work in a custom frame shop. I'm the lead, so I have to direct all my newbies....they're trying but WHY HIRE SO MANY PEOPLE DURING SEASONAL RUSH?! People coming to me today TODAY and asking for fully custom jobs. Uh, no way. I am not doing above and beyond favors for people this year. Every year I get screwed.
I have the weekend off. I have no idea what I'm gonna do but I will damn well try my best to relax.
Oh right I'm getting Logan (finally) chipped tomorrow. Vet's having a chip-a-dog for $10 clinic so wee!

I really wish Logan had a young dog to play with. Money is too tight for daycare right now and Brick is having no part of Logan's chilish obnoxiousness.

UGH. Logan is such a butthead lately. It's like he's forgotten everything and stares at me like I have five head and grunts when I ask him for his normal routine. I guess we will go into the woods today but I won't take him off leash since he's been so bad lately. :|

This is my latest doll I made in two days and about 17hr straight of work!
This is the last of my old overdue commissions! It feels good to get stuff done :)
This is my interpretation of a Winter Spirit-type werewolf. He is made of sooo many pieces and I had exactly enough yarn to finish him. He's needle sculpted and his legs are 8 individual pieces sewn to get that wolfish shape.His head is 5 pieces,and his arms are 6 each. He's 14" tall. He has individual fingers and toes and icy blue handpainted eyes.
I love love love how he turned out, he's probably one of my best dolls I've ever made.

Just finished this guy today! He's 100% freehand (no pattern) and only took about a days work. I painted some subtle blending of colors and accents. His antlers are wired and poseable!
He's off to his new home tomorrow!

Another day, another doll!
I made this huge otter on a whim to see how long it would take me. I probably spent 6-7 hours on him total? He's on his way to his new home!Do you guys like my crochet work? I can totes post more. I'm working on a realistic reindeer!
It's awful and freezing today but Logan is a fireball of energy. I GUESS I will take him to the park and freeze.
Started old Bricky on glucosamine. His arthritis is acting up and he's a little limpy. Poor old man. 11 is tough for a little sausage monster. Brick is the last of Craig's mothers dogs that we took when she died. I don't want to think about losing him. He's doing fine but he's slower and he has that "I'm 100yrs old and my black face is now grey and my eyes are glazed" look to him.
I think about his hard life a lot. He spent the first 5 years of his life in a crate. 15 minutes to be let outside, then back in the crate. I still hold to my "Brick will never ever be crated. Ever" he's been in one for half of his life.I have so much work to do but I'm so exhausted with everything. Work is killing me, commissions and family stuff fill my life. Ah. My dogs are my only distraction from life. I love walking outside and jumping in the rocks and sayin hi to the local kitties, chasing some squirrels and just letting to of everything. Craig scolds me because a don't bring my phone with me but I don't want to be bothered or tethered to anything when I spend time with my boys.
I guess ill go eat lunch.... Since I haven't eaten today. Boo

Dear pit bill owner,
You're the reason we can't have nice things. Of course I'm going to leave when your "only playing" intact pit keeps throwing my (larger than yours)dog on the ground and biting him. Oh and I'm so impressed when you tell me the dog is a champion weight puller, and then you smack her on the head when she pulls you on the leash. Oh and tell me how awesome and strong her puppies will be and how you measure your her biceps and thighs. I don't care. You "bought her from a dog fighting ring to save her" I don't buy that either.
Oh and as I'm leaving, I heard you try to play off your dog aggressively charging a PERSON and biting her sleeve off her shirt as "just playing".

KhaiShe was so mad I left, she asked me how much my dog weighed and made fun of him because he was a "lightweight"dog and "look how skinny her dog is" I overheard while leaving.

Dash version 1&2 the 2 still needs wings. I've improved the pattern greatly I think, also the larger eyes look much better. I don't think there's a realistic way to replicate the show accurate eyes, plus I like these toy style ones better
